The integra center at vanc
For many servicemen returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, rejoining civilian life has been a challenge. For those who come home with complex, traumatic injuries, the obstacles are even greater. The signature wounds from these conflicts are traumatic brain injury and amputation. Many survivors are double or triple amputees. Wounded warriors can spend months in hospitals, years rehabilitating and the rest of their lives managing their disabilities.
Integra Center was founded in 2011 to provide added support for wounded warriors and their families. Continuing in that tradition, the Integra Center at VANC was created to enhance community support for wounded warriors and provide them a home base while they reintegrate into civilian life and manage their many challenges. For more information, call 760-722-1277
